MONROE, OH (FOX19) - The Monroe School Board voted to place a five-year 7.05 mill emergency levy on the Aug. 7 ballot.
The levy would bring in $2.5 million for each of those five years. The district is also looking at outsourcing some of its services with the Middletown School District.
Monroe is expected to announce its exact deficit numbers later this week. If approved, the levy would cost the owner of a $100,000 home about $250 per year.
