Veterans to be honored in Clermont County

The Clermont County Veterans' Service Commission will honor four local veterans during a medals presentation ceremony Wednesday morning at 10 a.m. at the Clermont County Veterans' Service office, located at 76 South Riverside Drive in Batavia.

The veterans will be presented with medals earned during military service during the Vietnam War and World War II.

The veterans honored will include:

Michael Hensgen of Cincinnati - 2008 Ohio Military Hall of Fame Inductee (U.S. Air Force, Vietnam)

Tommie Bixler of Goshen (U.S. Navy, Vietnam)

Ronald Pottorf of Milford (U.S. Marine Corps, Vietnam)

Alfred Harmon of Milford (U.S. Air Force, WWII)
