CPD: Man breaks into biz to get cash for plates

CINCINNATI, OH (FOX19) -

Police say a man burglarized a closed restaurant to get enough cash for a license plate.

According to an affidavit, Roman Brown, 55, broke into the Popeye's Chicken on W.H. Taft Road.

Police say he stole a water heater, light fixtures and several chairs.

Brown told police he committed the theft to get some cash together for a license plate.

He's facing charges of breaking and entering and theft.
