MIDDLESBORO, Ky. (AP) - We have an update on the dismembered foot that was found on the banks of the Middletown river.
Middletown police say two men were fishing in the Great Miami River Monday afternoon when they noticed what appeared to be a human foot on the east bank of the river, about 200 or 300 yards off a bike path.
The Montgomery County Coroner's Office tells FOX19 they have determined that the foot belonged to a white male.
They are also telling us that it was a left foot.
Investigators are looking into a possible connection with a Miamisburg train suicide three weeks ago.
The office says they won't know the identity until the DNA test come back; that may take several days.
