Middletown baby's death ruled a homicide

MIDDLETOWN, OH (FOX19) -

The Butler County Coroner has ruled the death of an 11-month old girl a homicide.

Brittany Humphries died in January from cranial cerebral trauma from blunt force injury.

On January 14, The baby's mother, Courtney Olson, called 911 and said her daughter was dead and had choked on a hot dog.

Police originally said Humphries died of natural causes, after choking on food.

They have not filed any charges in the case.
