Dana/David Drive In Oxford, Ohio Rocks

HI:  I LIVE IN OXFORD AND FOR THE RECORD, MY BLOCK ROCKS.  OUR NEIGHBORHOOD IS SO GREAT THAT PEOPLE THAT DON'T EVEN LIVE NEAR US, RECOGNIZE THAT WE HAVE A GREAT BUNCH OF NEIGHBORS.  THERE ARE 6 HOUSES IN OUR LITTLE "GROUP".  BESIDES THE FACT THAT WE HAVE NUMEROUS PARTIES EVERY YEAR, MEMORIAL DAY PARTY, LABOR DAY PARTY, 4TH OF JULY PARTY, FOR THE HELL OF IT PARTY, ETC. CORN HOLE TOURNAMENTS ARE VERY POPULAR, AND WE EVEN HAVE WINNER AND LOSER BRACKETS, IT IS TAKEN VERY SERIOUSLY!  WE HAVE A PROGRESSIVE DINNER PARTY EVERY YEAR.  WE HAVE A CHRISTMAS PARTY AND WE EVEN HAD SANTA MAKE AN APPEARANCE FOR THE KIDS THIS YEAR.  DURING THE SUMMER WE HOLD A "TOWN MEETING" EVERY MONTH AND WE DISCUSS THE COMING MONTHS EVENTS.  WE HAVE A SECRETARY THAT TAKES NOTES, WE HAVE A KING AND QUEEN WHO OVER SEE THE MEETING, WE EVEN HAVE AN EVENT COORDINATOR.  WE USUALLY HAVE A GIRLS NITE OUT EVERY FEW MONTHS (ALTHOUGH WE TRY FOR EVERY FEW WEEKS!), WE GO TO A WINE TASTING OR OUT TO DINNER.  THE MEN USUALLY ALL ATTEND OKTOBERFEST TOGETHER. GOOD TIMES AND GOOD BEER ARE ALWAYS TO BE HAD. YOU CAN USUALLY FIND ONE OF US OR ALL OF US AT BW3'S ON A FRIDAY NITE. HOWEVER, ON A SERIOUS NOTE, EVERYONE DOES WATCH OUT FOR EACH OTHER.  WHEN SOMEONE GOES OUT OF TOWN, SOMEONE WILL WATCH YOUR HOUSE, GET YOUR MAIL, EVEN CUT YOUR GRASS. MY NEIGHBORS HAVE CUT OUR GRASS WHEN OUR MOWER WAS BROKEN, BROUGHT US FOOD WHEN MY MOTHER IN LAW WAS SICK AND HAVE EVEN DRIVEN WITH ME TO THE EMERGENCY ROOM WHEN ONE OF MY CHILDREN WERE HURT. WE ALL HAVE A LIST OF EMERGENCY CONTACTS, MEDICATIONS WE MAY BE ON AND DOCTOR'S PHONE NUMBERS IN CASE OF EMERGENCIES.

I HAVE A GROWING FAMILY AND WE REALLY NEED A BIGGER HOUSE, BUT WE DON'T WANT TO MOVE BECAUSE WE LOVE EVERYONE SO MUCH AND WE DON'T THINK WE WOULD EVER GET THIS LUCKY AGAIN.  SO PLEASE FEATURE THE GANG FROM DAVID/DANA DRIVE IN OXFORD, BECAUSE OUR BLOCK SERIOUSLY ROCKS!

SINCERELY,

INGRID HEINEMAN
