A former Xavier University student will be one of twelve comedians featured on the premiere of Comedy Central's new show "The Half Hour". The two-episode premiere is Friday May 11th at 11:30pm local time.
29-year-old Michael Palascak, a 2004 graduate attended Xavier University, earning an English degree magna cum laude. After college, he moved to Chicago to pursue a career in comedy and living at home with his parents.
Most recently he appeared on "The Late Show with David Letterman." This past summer he debuted on "The Tonight Show with Jay Leno" and performed at the TBS LOL Lounge in the Just For Laughs Comedy Festival in Chicago. He also has performed at Caesar's Palace in The Comedy Festival in Las Vegas and was the winner of HBO's Lucky 21 Stand-Up Contest. Palascak won the Chicago region of Comedy Central's "Open Mic Fight" and went on to make his Comedy Central debut on "Live at Gotham."
