HEBRON, KY (FOX19) - CVG is reopening the newly renovated Concourse A on Tuesday.
The Cincinnati-Northern Kentucky International Airport spent $36.5 million renovating the concourse after Delta pulled out of the area in May 2010.
The new concourse will include new ticket counters, an end seat or seat next to a desk at every gate, a plug in every seat, and a Sam Adams brewery. CVG CEO Candace McGraw is also hoping that the addition of new terminals at the airport will lower prices.
"We'll have the ability to have our existing carriers grow using some of that additional gate capacity," she said. "We have the ability to attract new businesses to come in now and lease space in Concourse A. We'll have the facilities available for them to operate from."
The new concourse will also have a universal business lounge and art work representing local history.
