Lakota East teacher heads to court

BUTLER COUNTY, OH (FOX19) - On Monday, the Butler County Sheriff Office reported that they were investigating the theft of some Lakota East prom money.

Heather Schoell-Schroeder, age 45, of Liberty Township, was issued a summons on Monday on charges of misdemeanor theft. She was a teacher at Lakota East.

Police say they got a report last week that said Schoelle-Schroeder had sold prom tickets in her classroom, and that money was never deposited into the prom account.

Her hearing is scheduled for sometime in June.
