TYLER, TX (KLTV) -

Tyler Police responded to a large fight outside of a club Monday morning to find a woman lying in the street and all others involved having fled the scene.

Around 2:30 a.m., police say a group of women began fighting outside of a motorcycle club in the 2100 block of North Grand Avenue.

The fight spilled out into the street, when a woman got into an SUV and left.

What happened next brought Tyler Police to the scene.

"One of them got into a car and tried to leave, and ended up running over one female and two males," says Tyler Police Sergeant Jason Burton, "The two guys went to the hospital by private vehicle. The woman was transported by ambulance to ETMC."

Two of the victims taken to the hospital following the incident have been treated and released. One woman suffered a broken leg. The second victim's injuries were not specified by authorities.

A third man, who sliced an artery when punching out a window of a vehicle, is still hospitalized and is awaiting surgery.

The woman in the SUV was contacted mid-afternoon on Monday by Tyler Police investigators, after she went to a local hospital to seek treatment for injuries she sustained during the altercation.

The investigation is ongoing.
