Party in the Park opens up today. Party in the Park opens up today.

Good morning!

We're looking to have a pretty good weather day here in the tri-state! Katy is predicting highs today to be in the mid to upper 70's. Most of the day will consist of a sun/cloud mix with a slight chance of a light shower in the afternoon. You can catch Katy and Frank all morning long with your big weather story.

Drivers: beware! Officials in southwest Ohio are saying that traffic could slow down to a crawl this week as crews haul several oversized metal boxes from the Ohio River up to Middletown. These "boxes" measure up to 175 feet long and 19 feet high. Stephanie Woods and Brad Underwood will be live this morning with more on this situation as well as updates on your morning commute starting at 4:30 a.m.

The Ohio texting ban is making its way to Columbus today after the House voted 82-12 to pass the bill. This bill will make texting and driving for adults a secondary offense but for those eighteen and under, it will be a primary offense. Governor John Kasich is expected to sign the bill and it could go into effect as soon as next month.

A mining accident in Gallatin County ended in tragedy yesterday. Angela Common, 37, was driving a truck when she hit a rock wall and was thrown from the vehicle. The truck then rolled over her. Brad Underwood will be live with more information starting at 5 a.m.

The Cincinnati City Council is expected to vote on funding to help stop violent crimes today. Jennifer Grove is joining us morning show crazies with live hits every half hour on Cincinnati's Initiative to Reduce Violence (CIRV).

If you're anything like me, you can't wait for the official start of summer and what better way to kick off the season than going to Party in the Park at Yeatman's Cove?! The 32nd year for the weekly party kicks off tonight at 5 with live music from the Naked Karate Girls. The party takes place every Wednesday until July 25.

First, it was Katy. Then, it was Tracey. Now, it's Stephanie's turn! The FOX19 Morning Show Grill-Off continues today and you need to tune-in as our traffic all-star shows off her skills with bleu cheese juicy lucys at 8:15!

I hope you've enjoyed your Wednesday headlines and remember - only 2 more days until the weekend!
