Bush Makes Two Tri-State Stops
President Bush took what he called his "Yes, America Can" bus tour of Michigan and Ohio into Lebanon Tuesday afternoon and then rode to an evening rally at the Cincinnati Gardens.
The President was introduced in front of the 200-year-old Golden Lamb Inn by Anthony Munoz and Congressman Rob Portman. Bush was the 12th American President to visit the Golden Lamb -- the first one to come while still in office.
Speaking to a crowd of more than 1,000 supporters, President Bush said he has demonstrated strong leadership regarding the war on terror, the economy and social issues while his Democratic challenger, Senator John Kerry, has taken "both sides on just about every issue."
Small groups of protesters gathered in Lebanon and outside the Gardens. After riding his bus from Michigan to Toledo and then Dayton before coming to Lebanon and Cincinnati, the President flew back to Washington on Air Force One.
