(RNN) - In a rare show of bipartisan cooperation, New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie and Newark Mayor Cory Booker put opposing political views aside for a video, channeling their best Jerry Seinfeld impersonations.

"Newman!"

Next, the mayor rescues a baby falling from balcony - and then Tebows with the rescued infant – which of course is a doll. No children were harmed in the bipartisan fun.

After each "I got this" by Booker, Christie turns to the camera to say with clenched teeth, "Booker."

The video skewers the mayor's tendency to help constituents, from shoveling snow to rescuing them from a burning building. Christie shines by being his usual honest, straight-forward self as he faces the camera and complains about going to four town halls a week.

Christie gets the last laugh, however. When the final vignette shows Booker stumbling through a phone call with Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney, Christie steps in to inform Booker, "I got this."

No word yet from Seinfeld about the spoof of his rivalry with Newman, a cantankerous mail carrier who lived down the hall on the comedian's show.

The two filmed the video, which Booker stated was the governor's idea, for the New Jersey Press Association dinner. The event is similar to the White House Correspondents' Dinner but on a much more Jerseylicious scale.
