Meals Recalled

Residents who receive home-delivered meals from social service agencies in southwest Ohio need to monitor thier health because some of the meals may be contaminated with listeria, the Ohio Department of Health said Friday.

An estimated 3,400 Salisbury steak dinners were delivered to clients in Butler, Clermont, Clinton, and Hamilton counties on May 3.

Signs of  listeriosis include flu-like symptoms, gastrointestinal distress and sudden onset of fever with headache, nausea and vomiting.

The Ohio department of Health and Agriculture, and the CDC are investigating.
