123rd Air Control Squadron returning home from Southwest Asia on Sunday

BLUE ASH, OH (FOX19) - Look for more than a few clouds in the Blue Ash sky this weekend.

Over 80 members of the Ohio Air National Guard's 123rd Air Control Squadron are set to return to the Blue Ash Air Station.

The squadron is coming home from a six-month deployment to Southwest Asia.

As part of Operation Enduring Freedom, they arrived to their designated locations last November. While serving, the members conducted air traffic control operations for their assigned area of responsibility.

The unit is expected to arrive on base this Sunday, sometime after 4 PM.
