Thousands volunteer during GO Cincinnati service blitz

CINCINNATI, OH (FOX19) - GO Cincinnati kicked off its annual one-day community service blitz on Tuesday with 6500 volunteers.

Volunteers tackled 400 projects, including 7500 flowers and more than 380 cans of paint. Community and church members from Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky joined forces to beautify the community by landscaping and cleaning up.

Church groups from South Africa and New Orleans traveled to the Tri-State to help with the projects as well.
