Bicyclist struck by vehicle in Sycamore Twp.

SYCAMORE TOWNSHIP, OH (FOX19) -

A bicyclist was struck by a motor vehicle Monday morning in Sycamore Township.

Mark Luebbers, 53, was struck by a 2004 Subaru Impreza while riding his bicycle in the right hand lane of northbound Plainfield Road around 5 a.m.

Christopher Bauer, 27, was the driver of the vehicle.

Leubbers was wearing propor bicycling attire equipped with lights and a reflective vest. He was transported to Jewish Hospital for minor injuries sustained from the crash.

Bauer was not injured and was cited for failing to maintain an assured clear distance.
