Middletown man arrested after shot fired into the air

A man will appear in court on Wednesday after being charged with discharging a firearm.

Last night, police were dispatched to a house on the 2200 block of Jackson Lane after receiving a complaint that at least one round had been fired from a shotgun.

Chamberlin was detained at the property.

Middletown Police say they found that Chamberlin had been in an argument and assaulted his wife in their home.

He then went outside and discharged one round in the air.

Chamberlain is charged with domestic violence, aggravated menacing, using weapons while intoxicated and discharging a firearm in the city limit.

He is currently in the Middletown City Jail with no bond until his court appearance.
