(FOX19) - The Ohio Supreme Court suspended attorney Eric Deters from practicing law for 61 days.
This ruling was made on Friday after his suspension in Kentucky for ethical violations back in February.
According to Deters' Facebook page, the "Ohio suspension has nothing to do with misconduct in Ohio or new misconduct. It's only a Kentucky issue."
Ohio followed standard practice by imposing the same action as Kentucky and will not reinstate his license until Kentucky decides to do so.
Deters is speaking out saying he expects to have his license back shortly after June 5. "I'm almost through it. When I am, I'll continue to thrive," said Deters.
