Deadly crash kills one, sends two to hospital

DRY RIDGE, KY (FOX19) - The Kentucky State Police in Dry Ridge are investigating a fatal collision in Harrison County on Robinson Road.

Ricky Mulwee, 46, of Harrison County was operating a 1993 Chevrolet pickup when he lost control of the vehicle in a curve. The vehicle went over an embankment, striking a tree and rolling over, causing him to be ejected from the vehicle.

Mulwee was pronounced dead at the scene by Harrison County Coroner.

Wesley Cozine, 33,  of Grant County and Lacy Plats, 31, of Harrison County were also in the vehicle at the time of the collision. They were transported to the Harrison Memorial Hospital for minor injuries and released. Wesley Cozine was arrested on unrelated charges from a warrant. The collision remains under investigation by Trooper David Holland.
