Police are investigating possible series robberies in the Clifton Heights/University Heights area.
Authorities say four robberies have occurred over the past month and they believe the offenses were done by the same suspects.
The robberies occurred on Ravine Street, Straight Street and Victor Street and each happened on a Saturday night or early Sunday morning. A 2004 Nissan Sentra was stolen on Sunday night on Ravine Street during the most recent offense. The blue Sentra bears the Ohio license plate of FAB5654.
The suspects are described as four to five black men around 18 to 21 years of age. The suspects typically assault the victims then steal items. Firearms are also usually shown during the robberies.
Police are reminding students and residents around the UC campus to travel in groups as there is safety in numbers. They say most victims of crime are usually out by themselves late at night and not aware of their surroundings.
