Several people have been cited for underage consumption after a party in Middletown.
At around 12:45 a.m. Tuesday morning, Middletown Police responded to a report of underage drinking and drug use at a party in the 1800 block of Howard Avenue.
Upon arrival, police discovered 13 people between the ages of 18 and 20 who had been drinking. They were all charged with underage consumption and cited into Middletown Municipal Court.
Police also found that two juveniles had been drinking at the party. They were cited into Butler County Juvenile Court for underage consumption and released to their parents. Two other juveniles fled from officers. Police did not located any drugs.
The resident of the apartment, Charles Allen, was charged with offenses involving underage persons (keg law) and two counts of contributing to the delinquency of a minor. He was booked in the Middletown Jail on a $9,000 bond.
