Butler to Join A10 this Fall

Indianapolis, IN (FOX19) - Butler announced Tuesday it will join the Atlantic 10 Conference a year earlier than expected.

Originially, Butler planned to move from the Horizon League to the A10 starting in the 2013-14 academic year, but will play in Xavier's conference starting this fall.

The move means the A10 will have 16 teams this coming season, including Butler and VCU.
