CINCINNATI, OH (FOX19) - A Blue Ash man is facing charges after police say he tried to abduct his ex-girlfriend and mother of his child.
Daniel Arszman, 23, is charged with one count of abduction. He is being held on a $550,000 bond in the Hamilton County Justice Center.
According to Hamilton County court records, Arszman met with the woman in Sharonville to discuss care and exchange property in regards to their child in common. During the conversation, Arszman became upset and threatened to kill the woman.
Arszman then pulled out a gun and forced the woman into his car and made her believe that he would kill her and himself if she did not say she loved him and wanted him back.
When the woman said she loved him, he drove her back to her car and followed her. A friend noticed that she was being followed and called police. She was directed to the Sharonville Police Department, where four officers were waiting when she pulled into the parking lot.
Arszman admitted to threatening the woman and stated he had a BB gun. The gun was recovered on YMCA drive after Arszman had thrown it from his vehicle.
Arszman was charged earlier this year with abducting his then 15-month-old daughter. Those charges were later dismissed.
