A Cincinnati Public Schools bus driver who is employed by contractor First Student Transportation has been arrested with four other people on charges of dealing heroin in  Walton, KY.

Agents of the Northern Kentucky Drug Strike Force, assisted by deputies from the Boone County Sheriff's Office, arrested the five in connection with a heroin trafficking investigation.  On Wednesday afternoon, agents executed search warrants on Kuchle Drive and Old Stephenson Mill Road in Walton.  Both homes are near Walton-Verona High School.  "I couldn't believe it. It was hard to believe, you know, because of a small city like this," said area resident, Vicky Bevis.

Drug enforcement agents arrested Shyly Harrison, 24, of Cincinnati for Trafficking in Heroin with Firearm Enhancement and Trafficking in Controlled Substance Within 1,000 Feet of a School.  Harrison is a Cincinnati Public Schools bus driver employed by First Student.

Also arrested were Robert Dupree, 28, Kayla Stubbs, 25, Daniel Delfin, 19, and Richard Lauderman, 28, all of Walton.  They are charged with Trafficking in Heroin and Trafficking in Controlled Substance Within 1,000 Feet of a School.

Agents started the investigation earlier this year after receiving numerous complaints regarding possible drug trafficking in the area. "We had seen a vehicle that we didn't normally see in our area and made the call," said Howard Stevens with Old Stevenson Mill Block Watch. "The only way you're ever going to get anything done is by reporting what you see. Law enforcement cant be there all the time and basically you're their eyes and ears."

Harrison is believed to have sold heroin to undercover officers in Walton immediately after finishing her school bus route in Cincinnati.

Dupree, Stubbs, Delfin, and Lauderman face up to 10 years imprisonment.  Harrison faces up to 20 years of imprisonment because she is alleged to have trafficked in heroin while in possession of a firearm.
