3 juveniles arrested for Mt. Airy burglaries

Three juveniles have been arrested for three separate burglaries.

The incidents occurred May 30 on Buttercup Lane and Danroth Court in Mt. Airy.

Police say the juveniles would enter through unlocked windows by cutting the window screens to enter the residences and steal electronics, money and jewelry.

The suspects' names were not released because of their ages.

Police say they have seen a recent increase in burglary offenses in Mt. Airy. Police believe more homeowners are leaving their windows due to the warm weather.
