Former Mason HS teacher seeking early release from prison

WARREN COUNTY, OH (FOX19) - Attorneys for Stacy Schuler filed a motion Thursday afternoon seeking early release from prison.

Schuler, a former Mason High School teacher, was found guilty in late October for charges involving sexual encounters with five different students. She was sentenced to four years in prison, eligible for parole in six months.

Her attorneys say her time has been well spent, tutoring several inmates to help them pass the GED, in addition to holding wellness classes within the prison.

The next step will be a pre-trial hearing on July 12th.

It will be held in front of the same judge that sentenced her back in October, Judge Robert Peeler.
