GOSHEN TOWNSHIP, OH (FOX19) -

Bond is $500,000 for a man who is accused of setting his Goshen Township home on fire.

Crews found the home in the 1500 block of Dorset Way engulfed in flames when they arrived on scene on Saturday afternoon.

Authorities found the fire was set intentionally and arrested William Donahoe, Jr., 57. Police say Donahoe was very emotional over a pending separation with his wife and set fire to her clothes in the master bedroom. He also put gasoline on the couch then lit it on fire.

No one else was in the home when he started the fire. He fled the scene after the fire ignited. The home suffered about $150,000 worth of damage.

Donahoe was arrested around 7:40 a.m. on Sunday after Union Township Police spotted him driving on State Route 32. He was taken to the Clermont County Jail and charged with aggravated arson.
