BRUNSWICK, OH (WOIO) -

Several communities are coming together to support the families of four Brunswick High School students killed in a car crash over the weekend.

Jeff Chaya, Kevin Fox, Lexi Poerner and Blake Bartchak were killed when their car went airborne and crashed on Boston Road in Columbia Township Sunday, June 3.

Here's a schedule of events:

Monday, June 11:

Brunswick Panini's advertising a fundraiser on Monday, June 11 for free meals, $100 percent of the proceeds will be donated to victim families.

Brunswick Dairy Queen will donate 50% of Monday, June 11 proceeds to victims' families. Employees are donating their time and Monday's paycheck.

Wednesday, June 13:

Balloon Launch On Wednesday, June 13th at 5:00 p.m., a Balloon Launch will be held at Brunswick High School Stadium(sponsored by BHS and Buehlers) where students, staff and community members are invited to share in lifting our thoughts and prayers to our deceased BHS members and survivor, along with hearing encouraging words from Pastors, encouraging music and BHS chants to celebrate the lives and memories of Jeff, Blake, Lexi and Kevin and to send positive energy to Julia. We hope to see you all there to celebrate and reunite after saying goodbye to our fellow BHS family members this week. This will be a great and positive way to bring all of us together after this week so we can depart with love and as a family.

Memorial Funds

Memorial Funds have been established for our students who were tragically lost last weekend Jeff Chaya (12th), Kevin Fox (12th), Lexi Poerner (11th) and Blake Bartchak (11th) at First Merit Bank. Donations will be accepted at any branch.
 
 
Scholarship Funds
 
A Scholarship Fund has been set up in Kevin Fox's name for the Rugby Ohio Scholarship Fund.  You can make a donation at any PNC Bank.  The scholarship will be awarded to one Brunswick Senior Rugby player every year.
