Three people have been arrested after a meth lab was discovered in West Chester.
Hazmat was called to a home on Hamilton-Mason Road Tuesday night for a report of a meth lab.
A Butler County Sheriff's Regional Narcotics (BURN) Task Force investigation led to a traffic stop of a vehicle in front of 6801 Hamilton-Mason Road, which happened to be the residence of one of the car's occupants. The two male occupants were in possession of some materials common to meth lab activity. This led to a search of the residence and storage barn areas of the property where investigators found all the elements of a full meth lab operation.
Michael S. Murray, 33, of Oxford, was charged with Illegal Manufacture of Drugs and Illegal Possession of Chemicals for Manufacture of Drugs. Danny Burke, 58, of the Hamilton-Mason Rd. address, was also charged with the same offenses. Victoria L. Burke, 57, also of the Hamilton-Mason Rd. address was charged with Possession of Drugs and Permitting Drug Abuse. All were taken to the Butler County Jail.
Hamilton Mason was shut down between Cincinnati Dayton and Maud Hughes road while police investigated. Additional charges may be filed.
