The weather Gods must be on our side this week!
Meteorologist Katy Morgan is saying that we will be seeing mostly sunny to partly cloudy skies this afternoon with highs reaching 80 degrees.
With a forecast like that, I know where I'll be tonight - Great American Ball Park! Our Reds beat out the Pirates last night 5-4, giving our boys a 3 game NL Central lead over Pittsburgh. Let's see if they can do it again tonight! First pitch is at 7:10.
Before heading out to the game, go visit some furry friends at the Cincinnati Zoo for Reds Day! Zack Cozart, Chris Heisey and Mat Latos will all take part in a Q&A session from noon until one. Zoo attendees will then head downtown for a pre-game animal parade and will also be able to purchase tickets for half price.
Speaking of downtown, the NY Times just released an article on Cincinnati's riverfront stating "the shoreline of this Ohio River city..is emerging again as a hub of civic and economic vitality" and "with 80,000 downtown jobs, Cincinnati's business core is thriving." Holding true to those statements, a new restaurant on the Banks will be opening Monday! Brad Underwood will be live starting at 5 AM with more on our city's review and the grand opening of Crave.
If you're already a homeowner and are looking to refinance, you're in luck! Britt Scearce from Emery Federal Credit Union will be here to tell you all about the new FHA Mortgage "Streamline" Refinance Program! Tune-in for Tracey's chat with Britt at 9:25!
