50th Homearama opens this weekend

MIAMI TOWNSHIP, CLERMONT COUNTY, OH (FOX19) - The 50th Homearama opens this weekend.

The home show is in Clermont County for the first time ever.

The show opens to the public on June 9 at Willow's Bend, one more north of I-275 in Miami Township. It will feature six luxury homes, marketed between $675,000 and $1 million and built by some of the top builders in Greater Cincinnati.

A ribbon cutting ceremony is taking place Thursday afternoon. The show runs through June 24.

"Willows Bend offers a lifestyle unlike any other--- a gently rolling countryside, complete with stately trees and broad grassy meadows, providing an overall feeling of peace and tranquility," said Dan Dressman, Executive Director of the Cincinnati HBA.

Dressman said three of six homes have already been sold; the site will feature amenities such as a pool, recreational facilities, a pedestrian-friendly grid and hiking/biking trails. Willows Bend is located in the Loveland School District rated for Excellence in Education.

Tickets are $14 at the gate or $11 at Cincinnati-area Kroger stores. AAA members can receive a $2 discount. Children 12 and under are free if accompanied by an adult.  Show hours are Monday-Thursday, 4 p.m. to 10 p.m. and Friday-Sunday, noon to 10 p.m.
