UndercoverWear, the innovator of the home lingerie party, is getting requests from women everywhere for their home parties, thanks to the release of the erotic novel, “50 Shades of Grey”. As of May 2012, the company has introduced a selection of products inspired by the books that are outselling its other products at home parties and online.

UndercoverWear has been hosting home-lingerie parties for over 35 years but the recent erotic novel series, "Shades of Grey" has housewives across the country reaching out to the lingerie company to book these unique parties. Based on the demands and requests of their customers, UndercoverWear introduced a specialized product line in May "inspired" by the books.
The Shades of UndercoverWear collection is a selection of items from UndercoverWear’s product lines and is geared toward fans of the best-selling books. It has already appealed to women who have read the books and want to try some of the toys and restraints that are featured, without going to extremes.
UndercoverWear CEO, Tiffany James, said, "Women are looking to try something new without going quite as far as things go in the novels. They want a little taste of what they read."
As the books have gained popularity in recent months, UndercoverWear began getting increased interest in parties from women in the area who want to hostess home parties with this very specific theme.
“One of the strangest requests I’m getting is from women’s book clubs,” said Nancy Cosimini, a representative and vice-president with the company. “The clubs are reading the books and having a home party as a fun ‘Finale’ to the trilogy.”
UndercoverWear isn't expecting the excitement to end anytime soon. As summer approaches, the books are in the hands of every woman at the beach, by the pool or on the deck. The company expects to make the "Shades of UndercoverWear" an ongoing part of their product line.
