CINCINNATI, OH (FOX19) - The Southwest Ohio Air Quality Agency has issued a smog alert for parts of the Tri-State on Friday.
Butler, Clermont, Hamilton and Warren Counties in Ohio and Boone, Campbell and Kenton Counties in Kentucky are included in the alert.
It is recommended that small children, the elderly and people with respiratory problems stay indoors during the smog alert.
The agency says when a smog alert has been issued you should try to take the bus, carpool or ride a bike. It is also recommended to keep your vehicle maintained, combine trips, refuel after sunset and avoid using oil-based paints and stains.
