Police: Mom left child in mall play area while she shopped

CINCINNATI, OH (FOX19) -

A mother is facing charges after police say she left her child alone in a mall play area while she shopped.

Rickale Rouden, 23, is charged with one count of endangering children.

According to Hamilton County court documents, Rouden left her 4-year-old daughter in the play area of Northgate Mall for about 40 minutes on Saturday while she shopped for clothes.

Rouden was taken to the Hamilton County Justice Center and was released on her own recognizance.
