CINCINNATI, OH (FOX19) - The Cincinnati Board of Education is moving towards placing a renewal levy on the Nov. 6 ballot.
The board approved the resolution in a unanimous vote to renew the levy for a five-year period which would begin in January 2014. The renewal would not raise taxes. A second vote by the board is needed to place the renewal on the ballot once the millage is calculated.
The $51.5 million emergency levy is due to expire in December 2013.
