CLEVELAND, OH (FOX19) - Nearly a half-million guests have visited Ohio's first full-service casino, Horseshoe Cleveland, since it opened to the public on May 14.
In its first month of operations, the casino and downtown Cleveland have welcomed thousands of locals as well guests from across the United States and foreign countries.
"We're thrilled that the casino has been such a popular destination," said Horseshoe Cleveland Senior Vice President and General Manager Marcus Glover. "The lines of the first few days have been replaced by a steady buzz of excitement and casino access is fast and efficient around the clock."
Since opening, Glover said the casino has booked more than 4,800 room nights at downtown hotels.
Horseshoe Casino in Cincinnati is scheduled to open next year.
