SR 63 reopen after head on crash sends 2 to hospital

TURTLECREEK TOWNSHIP, OH (FOX19) -

State Route 63 is now reopen after a head-on crash Friday morning sent two people to hospital.

The crash occurred just east of SR 741 at about 9:20 a.m.

The Ohio State Highway Patrol says Gregory McGlone, 50, of Franklin, was operating a Econoline E350 van eastbound on SR 63 when he went left of center and struck a Geo Prizm driven by Leah Green, 32, of Oregonia.

Both Green and McGlone were critically injured and transported to Miami Valley Hospital via Care Flight. 

A third vehicle, a 2011 Dodge 1500 hauling a trailer, driven by Aaron Brown, 36, of Lebanon was also westbound on SR 63 behind Green and was also struck by McGlone's vehicle.  Brown was not injured.

Alcohol and or drug usage is unknown at this time.  Charges are pending the completion of the crash investigation.
