CINCINNATI, OH (FOX19) -
A Winton Hills man is behind bars after police say he led officers on a chase with his 11-month-old daughter in the backseat of his car.
Jerrod Reynolds, 25, is charged with endangering children and possession of drugs.
According to Hamilton County court records, police attempted to initiate a traffic stop on Reynolds' vehicle at Hamilton Avenue and Ronald Reagan. Reynolds refused to stop, reaching speeds in excess of 80 miles per hour and driving on sidewalks as he fled.
Reynolds' vehicle left the roadway in the 7400 block of Werner Avenue, and he exiting the vehicle while it was still going about 10 miles per hour. He attempted to flee on foot and was struck by his own vehicle.
The vehicle crashed into a building on Werner Avenue. Reynolds continued to run into an apartment building. He was eventually tased and placed into custody.
Police found Reynolds' daughter in the backseat of the car, along with two adults. No one was injured. A marijuana cigarette was also found in the car.
Reynolds told police he fled because he had open felony warrants. He was found to have 16 open warrants, two of which were for felony drug trafficking.
