Apartment fire causes $250k in damage

MIDDLETOWN, OH (FOX19) -

An apartment fire in Middletown overnight caused $250,000 in damage and displaced several families.

According to WKEF in Dayton, the fire broke out around 2:30 a.m. on Bavarian Drive. Sixty people living in the complex made it out safely.

The complex is split up into three sections with 12 units each. Those living in the section where the fire started have been displaced. Others in the complex were able to return to their homes.

A cause has not been released.
