(FOX19) - Attorney Eric Deters was reinstated by the Kentucky Supreme Court on Friday afternoon.
The vote was 7-0, adopting the Character and Fitness Committee Report. The Character and Fitness Committee is made up of four members of the Kentucky Board of Bar Examiners.
The decision for the attorney to be reinstated in Kentucky comes after his suspension for ethical violations in February, which can be further read about here.
Ohio later followed suit, and suspended Deters after his Kentucky suspension, further detailed here.
In an email, Deters thanked the court and those close to him for their support. He also conveyed, "I want everyone to know I have learned a lot. The victory speaks for itself and I will not make any negative comments."
