CINCINNATI, OH (FOX19) - A few lucky Cincinnati Public Schools are getting an "Extreme Makeover".
Over 300 volunteers from GE Aviation will be setting aside the week of June 18th to help prepare select CPS campuses for the 2012 World Choir Games.
Volunteers will landscape and mulch four local schools with the help of a $9,000 grant from the GE Volunteers Foundation. These select schools are either scheduled to host competitions during the games in July, or will be seen frequently by visitors moving from competition to competition.
The School for Creative and Performing Arts will host competitions, and volunteers will be working there on Monday.
Other schools to be spruced up include: Hays Porter Elementary School, South Avondale Elementary School and Rockdale Academy.
Cincinnati expects more than 200,000 international visitors for the World Choir Games.
