CINCINNATI, OH (FOX19) - Gwendolynn Godler, the woman who hid her daughters from Child Protective Services after losing custody, appeared in court Friday.
A judge appointed a guardian ad litem for Godler, meaning someone is assigned by the court to represent a person, incapable of representing him or herself.
Godler, 19, refused to answer the door and turn over her children to a caseworker.
The girls, 10-month-old Gisaiah Golder-Mumphrey and 2-year-old Gabriellemarie Gebrselassie, were reported missing on June 9th. They were found safe on Monday with a family member and are now with child services.
Golder's trial will begin in August.
