Blue Ash hotel robbed at gunpoint

BLUE ASH, OH (FOX19) - The Blue Ash Police Department is investigating the armed robbery of the Crowne Plaza Hotel that occurred early Saturday morning.

Police were called to the hotel located at the 5900 block of Pfeiffer Road at around 4:30 am to investigate the robbery. According to police, a black male about 20-30 years old entered the lobby, jumped the registration counter, displayed a handgun and demanded money from the cash register.

The suspect then ran away from the hotel with an undetermined amount of cash. No one was injured during the robbery.

Police describe the suspect as wearing a dark colored hoodie sweatshirt, a black ski mask with an oval opening, black gloves, and dark colored workout pants.
