MIDDLETOWN, OH (FOX19) -

Two people who are accused of striking a woman with a vehicle, then dragging her after her arm got caught in the seatbelt, were in court on Wednesday.

Bond for Dustin Watkins was set at $210,000 and bond for Maria Misquez was set at $200,000 for their involvement in the death of Christina Purdin, 27.

Watkins, 23, is accused of fleeing the scene and tampering with evidence and Misquez, 31, is charged with complicity to fleeing the scene of an accident.

Purdin, a mother of three, died Monday morning. Her husband told police she was arguing with a man who took money for a painting job but never did the work.
