Cheers to the sweet summertime!

Even though it has felt like summer for quite a while, our #1 weather gal Katy Morgan is saying the heat and humidity won't be backing down for the first official day of the season! We can expect a hot and hazy afternoon with sunny skies and a highs around 93 degrees. If you plan on being outdoors today, be sure to grab the sunscreen and your shades because you're definitely going to need them!

You can check out Katy all morning long for your up-to-date weather conditions as well as a complete seven-day forecast starting at 4 AM.

The folks in Pendleton County were able to sleep a little easier last night after 19-year-old Carlee Garrison was found safe and is back at home with her family. You can hear more on where she was located and the strange story behind the chaos on the FOX19 Morning News at 5.

The family of 15-year-old Africa Hope is looking for answers this morning after she was shot and killed Monday night in OTR. Brad Underwood will be live in house this morning with more on why the Hope family believes this tragedy could have easily been prevented.

Rob Williams knows how to start the summer off right - he was lucky enough to do the honors of tapping the Tennent's Lager keg at Nicholson's downtown last night. This is the first time in three years that the delicious Scottish import has been available in the U.S. so make sure you go grab a pint (or three)!

Speaking of summertime "beverages", do you think you should be able to purchase a drink at one bar and take it in to the next? The cities of Newport and Covington are on board, which is why they're pushing to change the liquor laws in Northern Kentucky. I want to know what you think so come have your say on the FOX19 Facebook page!

Time is running out...you now have NINE days to purchase your ticket for a chance to win the St. Jude Dream Home in the Miami Bluffs subdivision of Maineville! This amazing home is valued around $400,000 and could be yours with the purchase of a $100 ticket! ALL of the proceeds go directly to the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in Memphis, TN. Pick up the phone and call - Frank Marzullo and Tracey Johnson will be standing by waiting to hear from you! All lines will be open starting at 5 AM: 1-800-537-1735.

That wraps up your mid-week headlines! Check out the FOX19 Morning News from 4-9 AM followed by our Morning Xtra!
