BELTERRA, IN (FOX19) -
Belterra Casino Resort has made a donation of $5,000 to Caracole Inc. The non-profit organization that provides safe, affordable housing and supportive services for individuals and families living with HIV/AIDS.
"We are happy to support the work of Caracole with today's donation," said Sue Ascanio, Vice President and General Manager at Belterra Casino Resort. "The organization has operated in Cincinnati for 25 years and creates tremendous goodwill throughout the community," she said.
Ascanio and members of the Belterra Casino Resort management team officially presented the donation check to Caracole Inc., during a press conference at Caracole's new administrative and case management offices on Wednesday.
The donated funds will be applied to Caracole's general operating fund, which provides unrestricted support for the agency.
