Woman indicted in fatal hit & skip motorcycle crash

CINCINNATI, OH (FOX19) -

On Thursday, a Cincinnati woman was indicted in the death of a motorcycle rider.

Police say Brittany Ison, 20, rear-ended a motorcycle driven by Jason Claypool, 39, while traveling northbound on I-75 near the exit to I-74.

Claypool struck the guardrail. He was taken to University Hospital, where he was pronounced dead. Police say he was not wearing a helmet.

Officers say that after the crash, Ison left the scene.

Ison was indicted in Hamilton County on charges of vehicular manslaughter, vehicular homicide and leaving the scene of an accident.
