Stubbs to Rehab in Dayton

Cincinnati, OH (FOX19) - Reds outfielder Drew Stubbs is headed back to the Dayton Dragons - on a rehab assignment.  Stubbs, who has been out since June 5th with a strained oblique, will play with the Reds Single-A team  beginning Friday night.  How long he stays is up to the Reds.

As a minor leaguer Stubbs spent the entire 2007 season with the Dragons.

When Stubbs left the Reds he was hitting .235 with seven home runs, 18 runs batted in, and 13 stolen bases.

The Dragons host the Bowling Green Hot Rods on Friday at 7:05 p.m.
