Two adults and two children were rescued by a duck boat giving a tour Friday afternoon.

Officers tell FOX19 that the family's boat capsized in the Ohio River, near the Licking River.

Ride the Ducks Captain Eddie Foley, 36, of Delhi, was on the water giving a tour with guide, Robert Cloar, 20, of Independence, when they noticed an overturned boat and people in the water.

Foley drove his duck boat over to the people and radioed for help, while Cloar dropped the ladder off the back of the boat and got the people aboard safely.

The children were wearing life jackets at the time of the incident. The boat sunk to the bottom of the Ohio.

The Coast Guard and River Patrol have both been contacted.

After the rescue, the pair went back to work on the Duck Boat until the end of their shift later that evening.
